Birth place Heyworth.

Forever home Normal.

What's not normal, this house!

She was not named after Mark

But for the grace of God.

Some of her brothers and sisters...just because I can't stand it! I wanted them all.

But thank God I didn't...life may never be the same :)

And for Jeez..."When  I open my eyes please let her be gone!"

But with each day I see a little improvement in his world of acceptance...emphasis on little.

  My hope is he will grow as close as he was with Payton.

Who we still miss so very much.

So while she makes herself at home...

I truly am grateful for my husband
dismissing my moment of insanity
and supporting me with our
newest family member.

His father is my nephew and we go way back...

back to when he was this age.

And then it happened,

he became all grown up, married a beautiful girl

with more importantly a beautiful heart

and blessed his family with

Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here,

that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.

There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends

so they can run and play together.

There is plenty of food, water and sunshine,

and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor.

Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again,

just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.

The animals are happy and content,

except for one small thing,

they each miss someone very special to them,

who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together,

but the day comes when one suddenly stops

and looks into the distance.

Her bright eyes are intent.

Her eager body quivers.

Suddenly, she begins to run from the group,

flying over the green grass,

her legs carrying her faster and faster.

You have been spotted,

and when you and your special friend finally meet,

you cling together in joyous reunion,

never to be parted again.

The happy kisses rain upon your face,

your hands again caress the beloved head,

and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet,

so long gone from your like

but never absent from your heart.

Then, you cross Rainbow Bridge together...

Good bye sweet girl.
We spent every day together for many years.
You never let me down or disappointed me,
just loved me unconditionally
and for that I will be eternally grateful.
As I held you in my arms,
I promised I wouldn't cry any more.
I lied.
I miss you.

The weather was far from perfect but not the afternoon. I have never laughed so hard nor had such a great time taking pictures. Brent and Amy are getting married next October and are sure to have a blessed life together. Here is a sneak peak at Funk's Grove. ~Enjoy~
