My niece Christina and I headed to Lake Evergreen for an afternoon of hiking.
We had a blast! And to think she is not even a hurdler...inside joke!
We laughed, lived, and learned that we mistakingly took the bike only path.
We survived, though, I had to quickly hop up and cling to a tree so I would not be run over while the guy yelled, "Runners!"
This was our turning around point. I only broke down a couple times as I was certain I would die of thirst or the thought I may never see my family again because we didn't leave bread crumbs!
Did I mention I had never hiked before?
Our reminder to not bring our horses next time!
On my way home I had to stop several times to take more pictures.
BTW...all with my new iPhone!
